Naivasha

Wild, tranquil and full of life.

Naivasha is a place of shimmering waters, open landscapes and abundant wildlife, set against the dramatic backdrop of the Great Rift Valley. But beyond the tranquil beauty of the lake lies another Naivasha — a place of hidden wilderness, volcanic landscapes and intimate encounters that invite you to slow down and experience Kenya from a different perspective.

Experiences We Love

Where to Stay

Naivasha offers stays that blend the tranquillity of the lake with the wild beauty of the Rift Valley. From intimate tented camps tucked among acacia woodland to elegant lakeside lodges and secluded retreats overlooking the surrounding landscape, each offers its own way to experience this peaceful corner of Kenya. Here, where you stay becomes part of the experience — bringing you closer to the lake, the wildlife and the landscapes that make Naivasha so distinctive.

Olerai

One of Naivasha and Kenya’s best kept secrets – an intimate, welcoming and characterful boutique lodge set within the magical Olerai Sanctuary – 300 beautiful rewilded lakeside acres teeming with wildlife. It’s hard to imagine a more relaxing or authentic near-to-Nairobi retreat.

Loldia House

Loldia House is a historic luxury safari lodge located on the north western shores of Lake Naivasha in Kenya’s Great Rift Valley. Operating as part of the Governors’ Camp Collection, the lodge sits on a privately owned 6,500-acre conservancy and provides direct access to freshwater lake and grassland ecosystems approximately two hours from Nairobi.

At the heart of it stands the Manor House, built in 1932 and restored to its original grace. Tudor in character, dressed in English and French antiques, warmed by open fires and long meals and the quiet of a place that has welcomed guests for ninety years. Eight rooms. Fourteen guests.
